PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad: Trinidad and Tobago has now imposed a licence requirement for rice imports from Guyana, causing great distress to Guyanese exporters. Trinidad importers must apply to the Ministry of Trade in Trinidad and Tobago for a licence to buy rice from Guyana.
