Arcadia is ‘Mu', the non-existent planet whose citizens are very happy (see ARCO's Mission Statement). To build Arcadia, a blueprint is needed. ARCO is one of a number of people and organizations around the globe drawing that blueprint. It is a blueprint for a new civilization based on abundance, justice and peace, three interdependent concepts. You are invited to join in the work. Help us draw this blueprint.
Within this context the emblem below was designed. The underlined ‘Y' is a stylized representation of a cup. Whenever this cup has been filled with the ‘fire of Solidarism', the resulting creative product will be like a line added to this blueprint. Thus this fire is the real ‘entry-key' to Arcadia. The equilateral triangle stands for the synthesis resulting from two opposing forces. In Arcadia the right synthesis between communism vs. capitalism, globalism vs. anti-globalism, and conservationism vs. industrialism has been worked out in theory and practice.
To help unlock the doors of Arcadia, ARCO needs funds. ARCO invites anybody who wants to help to submit his/her creative products (art, writings, articles, books, poetry, lyrics, music, songs, logo's, designs) to ARCO for publication either on the net or in hard copy.
The first thing that comes to mind is sharing your articles and comments. You can grant ARCO permission to publish them free of charge. If the ARCO staff believes your article passes the ‘Entry-Key' test, it will be published.
But we hope that some ARCO readers will want to donate some of their creative products to ARCO. It can then be published and sold by ARCO to raise funds. Any donated creative products that pass the ‘Entry-Key' test will bear this emblem. A few examples of what we have in mind:
COPYRIGHTS. The following works may be published under the emblem: books (both poetry and prose), (sheet)-music (both with and without lyrics; recorded or unrecorded), films and works of art in general.
DONATIONS. ARCO is also very grateful to anybody wishing
to donate cash money or sponsor ARCO in any other way.
